How to Use a Faymas Prompt in Google Gemini, Step by Step

You have found a look you like on Faymas and copied the prompt. Now what? This guide takes you through the rest, inside Google Gemini, one step at a time. Gemini is the tool most Faymas users pick because it accepts your photo and a text prompt together, in one chat, for free.

Before you start

You need three things: the prompt, copied from a card on faymas.in; a clear photo of yourself; and the Gemini app on your phone, or gemini.google.com in a browser, signed in with a Google account. The photo matters more than anything else on this list. Pick one where your face is well lit, looking at the camera, without sunglasses or a heavy filter. Daylight near a window beats a dim room every time.

Step 1: Copy the prompt properly

On faymas.in, open the photo style you want and copy the complete prompt from the card. All of it. People often grab only the first sentence about the outfit and skip the tail, the lens, lighting and quality words at the end. That tail is what makes the result look like a photograph instead of a cartoon. If you are new to how these prompts are built, our explanation of the AI photo prompt formula shows what each part does.

Step 2: Start a Gemini chat and add your photo

Open Gemini and start a new chat. Tap the plus or image button and choose your photo. Wait until the photo thumbnail appears in the message box before you go on. If you paste the prompt first and the photo second, the order sometimes confuses the result; photo first, words second is the reliable order.

Step 3: Paste the prompt and generate

Paste the copied prompt into the same message, under your photo, and send. Gemini will think for a few seconds and return an image: your face, in the outfit, place and light the prompt described. Save this first version even if it is not perfect. It is your base, and every fix from here is a small edit on top of it.

Step 4: Fix one detail at a time

This is where good results are made. Do not rewrite the prompt. Reply to Gemini with one small instruction at a time:

  • "Keep my face and the outfit exactly the same, but change the background to a quiet beach at sunset."
  • "Same photo, but make the light softer, like morning light through a window."
  • "Same photo, but change the saree colour to deep green."
  • "Keep everything the same and make it look more like a real camera photo, less smooth."

One change per message. If you ask for five changes at once, the tool usually fixes two, mangles one, and quietly changes your face while it is at it. Small steps keep your face stable, and your face is the whole point.

Common problems and their fixes

Your face changed too much. This usually means the starting photo was dark, angled or filtered. Swap in a straighter, brighter photo and add one line to your follow-up: "keep my face and features exactly the same as my photo." Then regenerate.

The outfit is wrong. Name the fix plainly: the exact colour, the fabric, the detail. "Change the jacket to black denim" lands better than pasting the whole prompt again.

Hands or jewellery look odd. Hands are the weakest part of every AI image tool. Ask for a closer crop, "frame the photo from the waist up", or simply regenerate; the next roll often cleans it up.

The result looks like a painting. Add "photorealistic, natural skin texture, shot on a phone camera" to your follow-up and try again.

Step 5: Save the one you like

When a version makes you smile, download it from Gemini straight away, before you keep experimenting. Chats fill up fast, and the best version is easy to lose among near-misses. Then, if you want, try a different prompt from the library: the couple and saree prompt guide is a good next shelf to browse.

That is the whole skill. Copy a full prompt, bring a clean photo, fix one detail at a time. And remember there is nothing to install to begin: if you arrived here looking for a Faymas app, our download page explains why the website is all you need.
